Background: The Tantel armor was a model used primarily before the Galactic Civil War. It offered a high degree of protection against energy-based weapons like blasters but lesser protection from kinetic damage. The complete armor set included a helmet, a breastplate, left and right biceps, left and right bracers, gloves, leggings, and boots. The helmet was adorned with gondar tusks. The armor set was available in several colors.
Variants of this armor included the Rogue armor, sometimes used by smugglers, and the First Responder armor, appreciated by medics.
